Clowns

clowns

Negligence in black rune

Sign languages spoken

Unfettered discourse

locale swelters introspect

dangerous air

nightshade among gardenias

engage, enrapture

to and fro flow

of yesterday’s tomorrow

awaken, hard, stop

a few bruises

foul of breath

quaking retribution but

rocking nonchalance

burned and buried

behind ear lobe

tattooed shameful

a scarlet letter

you can’t spell my name

you can’t read my name

you cannot say my name

you do not know

who we are

soon enough

you will.
