the eyes have it
the moon in transit
a darkening of mood
and sky
a judgement
carrying the weight
the aye’s have it
the casual violence
of neglect
indelible
the distance
of doubt
fear and respect
in the same costumes
gavel pounding out
a sentence of nothings
as the sun apologizes
for naught
it burns everything, for it is
a nuclear furnace
and cannot change its core
the eyes have it
nonchalance
the quest for prosecution
the defense will rest
the jury has been summoned
the soul carries the motion
the court report
of a silent barrel
rolling like a thunder
unheard on horizon
the eyes have it
sworn to tell the truth
and an open window
cannot hide the lie

Wow!!! This is so extremely powerful. I had a constant awareness of choices that are made for us without out consent. Wonderful!

That was one hell of an intense read. It felt like I was bro g watched, judged, scorned, challenged. The repetition of ‘ the eyes.. ‘ constricts my mind. Bloody wonderful

The power and beauty in the words of poetry.
Her eyes are so majestic and exquisite. 🙂 You brought upon something of an awareness within ourselves. Man, do I miss reading your work. 🙂
